Life is meant to be celebrated and explored and learning occurs best when it is shared with others in ways that cannot be duplicated in a traditional classroom. When we connect meaningfully with others, we grow both socially, emotionally and intellectually.

Growth occurs best when children and adults are allowed to experience learning on their own terms, at their pace. By facilitating pathways for hands-on exploration, we offer a rich-learning environment for children.

Our group relies on members to offer secular, project-based clubs throughout the year. Homeschool co-ops that have been offered in the past include: gardening, young entrepreneurs, books in the park & performing arts.

We host local events throughout the year in addition to several Far Out Field Trips to neighboring cities. Events include park days, volunteering, craft projects, teen/tween hangouts, the zoo and museums, and library days.

We offer adult gatherings about once every 6 weeks. Events have included coffee chats, brunch, breweries, and lunches with kids.

In past years we have hosted a History Fair, Science Fair and Cultural Festival. This year we will also host a Field Day, Art Show, and Talent Show.
